ASSOCIATED
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Personnel Assistants are exposed to a variety of personnel functions
as a new graduate in this trainee position.
Compensation Analysts perform job analysis, salary surveys,
benefits analysis, and job classification.
Recruiters advertise position openings, visit schools and
universities to interview and screen applicants, and research candidates’ qualifications.
Human Resources Managers oversee the hiring and orientation
of new employees, coordinate benefit programs, and negotiate employee/management
contracts.
Corporate Trainers design, implement, and evaluate learning
programs to help organizations reach strategic goals.

SALARY INFORMATION
The national average yearly salary for students graduating in the
curriculum of Business Administration/Management is $36,967.

WHAT IS HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT?
The Human Resource Management option of the Business Management degree
prepares students for career opportunities in human resource management
in both the public and private sector. The curriculum focuses on
employment practices, compensation administration, training, and
employee human resource legal issues.
