Learn to fabricate small-hinged silver boxes with spring-locking closures. Focus on technical how-to’s and explore individual artistic design interpretation and style. Included are: box design and construction, soldering and assembly techniques, hinge construction and making spring-locking closures. Intermediate-Advanced (competent metalworking and soldering skills required)

, studio metalsmith and educator, teaches at SUNY New Paltz. He was the 2006 inductee into the National Metalsmiths’ Hall of Fame. His work appears in numerous publications and public and private collections.
