11th Annual Celebration of Craft
Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10am-5pm (central)
Looking for an entertaining, educational,
and FREE way to spend a Saturday?
- Experience narrated studio demonstrations
blacksmithing, ceramics, weaving, fabric
dyeing, glassblowing, fine metals and woodworking.

Enjoy live
musical performances
11am-1pm | Gypsy Pompe
1:30-4:30pm | Sheep Trick
- Bring the kids for hands-on
craft activities
paper marbling, photograms, clay handbuilding,
hand-made kites, and tiny tot necklaces.
- Find great new work by students in the
Visual Art Society's Fine Craft Sale.
- Bid on great original works in the Silent Auction.
Work for the Silent Auction is donated by Craft Center faculty, resident artists, students and regional craft artists.
- Shop in The Gallery - 10% discount this day only.
TTU employees receive a 20% discount with their valid TTU Eagle Card this day only. TTU employees receive a 10% discount year-round.
- Buy commemorative Celebration t-shirts, aprons, tote bags, and marbled silk scarves in support of the Craft Center's educational outreach programs.
- Feast on great food by the walkway cafe, including a variety of luncheon selections and tasty treats.

All proceeds from the Celebration of Craft directly support the Appalachian Center for Craft's educational outreach programs, serving over 4,000 students K-12 in Tennessee's Upper Cumberland Region each year.
