Acoustics and Non-Destructive Evaluation Lab Equipment Listing

The Acoustics and Noise Control Lab's equipment includes the following:

Noise Measuring Equipment:

  • 1 Larson•Davis 2900B dual channel sound level meter/analyzer with intensity module and advanced signal generator;
  • 3 Larson•Davis 712 noise dosimeters/type 2 sound level meters;
  • 2 type 1 sound level meters, CEL275 and Rion NA61;
  • 1 8-channel PC based data acquisition system

Microphones:

  • 30 microphones, various sizes (1/8" - 1") and brands;
  • 15 B&K and ACO microphone preamplifiers;
  • 6 B&K and ACO microphone power supplies;
  • 1 intensity probe and 2 phase matched microphone pairs;
  • 6 B&K UAO436 turbulence screens

Miscellaneous:

  • Several sound power sources;
  • Rotating boom;
  • Various signal generators and shapers;
  • Precision digital voltmeters;
  • Various recorders, filters and meters;
  • Various calibrators and pistonphones;
  • Helium bubble flow visualization system
