Just wanted to let you know that as a result of your workshop … in Fayetteville, TN, we have made significant progress in energy conservation as it relates to compressed air.

These actions resulted in so much more available air that we noticed that during periods of low demand that one compressor was not unloading as it should. We called in a technician … and he discovered that a check valve on the control circuit had been installed backwards and that they are most likely the ones that installed it that way. Now the compressor reacts correctly but we would not have found it had we not reduced our compressed air demand.

I have also been working with … the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services and we are seriously entertaining the use of their services to garner additional energy savings through more efficient lighting in the plant and the evaluation of our waste streams.

Not bad for a $20 workshop!
