The following policy was passed by the Computer Resources Committee at Tennessee Tech University on 24 Feb 1994:

"Recreational computing will not be allowed from 8:00 a.m. until midnight Sunday through Friday."

"The use of computing facilities, PC's and terminals in labs, dial-in lines, and network capacity, for recreation such as game playing, is interfering with the use of these facilities for academic work during prime time. The Computer Resource Committee has adopted the policy that recreational computing not be allowed from 8:00 a.m. until midnight Sunday through Friday. Please be considerate and follow this policy. Failure to comply with this request will result in loss of Internet and/or computing privileges."
