| Advisement Planning
During the fall semester, Basic Engineering students
will attend a group meeting to begin pre-registration for the following
spring semester. Announcements of dates and location will be sent
to students by e-mail and by letter to their post office boxes.
At the group meeting, students will be given the general
instructions for registering that semester along with any new procedures
and changes that will be taking place. After the group meeting,
students are asked to prepare a schedule of classes for spring semester,
have questions ready for their advisor, and meet with their advisor.
The date of advisement week is shown on the online academic
calendar.
Basic Engineering students should:
1. Check to see if their advisor makes appointments
or accepts walk-ins.
2. Fill out a Student Advisement Form (located in
the advisor's office or BE office, Clement Hall, Room 321).
3. Have their advisor approve the Form (Advisor
keeps the blue copy only).
4. Bring the gold copy of the signed Form to Clement
Hall, Room 321 and receive a Registration Information Form (RIF).
(If any holds are on the RIF, get them cleared prior
to the Early Registration Week).
5. Go online to register at/or any time following
their appointment time listed on the RIF.
DO NOT FORGET TO CONFIRM
YOUR ENROLLMENT.
