Highlights:
Go where the wine is from a nearby vineyard, the olives are picked in the backyard and the bread was made an hour ago, warm and crusty next to a chunk of velvety cheese. Where Tuscan life bustles with flower carts, church bells and marketplaces, where the cities of Florence and Rome are exquisitely haunted with their golden pasts, Florence the center of Renaissance art and Rome the capital of the ancient world.

First you’ll stay in one of the most important and famous spa towns in Italy, Chianciano. Tucked into the Tuscan hills, it is renowned for its healthy waters, fashionable shops and charming restaurants. Then it’s on to Fiuggi, another picturesque spa town perched on the slopes of Mount Erici and once frequented by Michelangelo.
