January 28, 2007 - TTU All-Star Alumni Tuba Ensemble Concert and Reception at Carnegie Hall in New York City

• Many TTU alumni and friends from the New York City area and several other states -- Texas, Ohio, Wisconsin, Tennessee and more -- enjoyed a fantastic concert at Carnegie Hall and a reception afterwards.
• Several of the composers whose pieces were commissioned attended the event and gave historical information about their compositions.
• The concert was the seventh performance by the TTTE at Carnegie Hall, and the group has produced 22 recordings. We are focusing our efforts on holding alumni events in cities where we have large numbers of alumni. We now average eight off-campus events per year in areas like San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and more.
