TTUAlert REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

We will be sending you to Rave Alert to sign up for this service:

1. New Users: Be sure to click on the "Join Now" button on the login page. You may also want to watch the online registration tutorial available through the link below the "Log in" button on the left.

2. Verify school — Enter your TTU e-mail address on this screen:

3. Select the Next button.

4. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Rave. Follow the directions in the e-mail message to continue your Rave Alert Account setup.

5. Click on the link in the e-mail and follow the steps to create your Rave Alert account

6. After being redirected from the e-mail, enter your account information into the dialog boxes.
• User Name (tntech.edu e-mail address)
• Password (of your choice)
• First Name/Last Name
• Mobile Number (necessary to receive text alerts on your mobile phone)
• Preferred E-mail Address (email address where Rave can contact you)

7. Select checkbox ‘I agree to Rave’s Terms of Use’, once you have viewed the Terms of Use.

8. Select Next.

9. Confirm Mobile Number - When you select Next on the "Create Account" page, you will be presented with the "Confirm Mobile Number" page.

10. Once you enter your mobile phone number on the "Create Account" page, Rave will send you a 4-digit confirmation code (via text message on your mobile phone) used to verify your wireless number and carrier.

11. Enter the 4-digit code. If you did not receive your 4-digit code, select the link: request a new one.

12. Select Finish. You also have the option to enter your code at a later time by selecting Skip, I’ll enter code later.
If you elect not to register your mobile number at this time you will receive a message on your home page letting you know that Text Alerts are Inactive.

13. When your Rave Alert account is setup and you have entered your confirmation code, you will receive the "Finished!" page welcoming you to Rave Alerts.

14. We suggest you enter the system with the Start using Rave Alert now link. There you will be able to sign up for (or opt out of) receiving specific non-emergency channels, such as weather alerts, as well.
