For incoming freshman, basic admissions requirements are based
on ACT or SAT I scores, high school curriculum and grade point average
(GPA). In order to receive unconditional admission, you must fall
in to one of the following catagories:

OR |
|

admission.
For Transfer students, applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA in their
last full-time semester (or last 12 hours for part-time students),
have completed the 14 core high school academic units (if they graduated
from high school after 1989), and have a 2.0 cumulative/overall GPA (refer to the catalog
for complete details for transfer
student admission).
Q - When should I apply for admission?
We encourage you to apply for admission one year before you plan
to start at TTU. For new freshman, this is in the fall of your senior
year of high school. To be considered for academic scholarships
you must apply before December 15 of the year before you plan to
enter.
To allow time for us to process your file for admission, you must apply for admission and send in all requirement documents (such as transcripts, test scores, etc) by the following dates:
For Fall term: all materials due by August 1
For Spring term: all materials due by December 1
For Summer term: all materials due by May 1
If your file is not complete by these deadlines, we can not guarantee that your file will be reviewed and a decision made in time for you to start classes during that term.
