Tech University has been named one of America's
100 Best College Buys, earning designation three years
in a row as one of the nation's best college educations for the
cost. This honor comes on the heels of TTU's 2008 ranking as one
of the Top
Public Schools in the South by USNews & World Report
(for the sixth time), as a Best
Southeastern College by The Princeton Review (for the
fourth time), and as one of America's
Best Value Colleges for the second time. These accolades
are a reflection of the commitment our university has toward the
lifelong success of our students.
With 44 bachelor's degree and 20 graduate programs -- including
an M.B.A., Ed.S., and Ph.D. programs in education, engineering and
environmental sciences -- more than 75 percent of faculty members
hold Ph.D.s.
Among the 60,000-plus TTU graduates are the former president of
Boeing Corp., a two-time space shuttle astronaut, a 12-time NFL
pro-bowl player, a New York Times assistant managing editor, and
a four-star general. These grads have experienced it, and now you
can too. We're more than Tech — we're Tennessee Tech University.
